should I call back after an interview?
Q. My last job of 7 years started at $7.25 an hour. I worked my way up to almost six figures after being moved from maintenance to outside sales. The position I interviewed for starts at six figures and I am unaccustomed with protocol in this situation. He told me he was very impressed with my performance in the past and my interview, but one week later and no call back. What should I do?

A. After an interview you should always write a follow-up letter. You should thank the person for the interview, tell them that you are interested in the position and tell them that you are looking forward to hearing from them. I wouldn't call, but I would send a letter. It looks very professional.
